Southern cooking from a North Carolinian in Williamsburg with a suspiciously missing "e" in "Bell." Rustic, wooden, and cozy, Northern Bell has an astounding craft beer list that nears the four-dozen mark, perfect for leisurely drinking in the gorgeous outdoor garden. Menu-wise, there are no surprises here: sliders, short ribs, macaroni salad, and corn fritters share page-space with a deep burger list—spicy elk on brioche with adobo aioli and chipotle peppers, for example, and a stuffed bison ordeal with bleu cheese, bacon, and garlic—and barbecue pulled pork served up two ways.
