Opened in 1982 with a mission to amplify the music of the Afro-Latino diaspora, SOB’s is known as one of the first places to bring kompa to the New York City stage, with performances from Tabou Combo, Kassav’, Sweet Micky, CARIMI, Harmonik, T-Vice, Klass, Zafem, and more.
