Spring Street Natural was founded in 1973 in the heart of SoHo, moved to Kenmare Street in 2016 and dropped the Street to become Spring Natural. The Restaurant quickly has been a neighborhood fixture, serving up fresh, healthy cuisine at affordable prices. In 1985 Spring Street Natural moved east to the corner of Spring and Lafayette. Spring Street Natural blossomed at this new corner location along with the surrounding area in what has become a vibrant neighborhood on the convergent edge of SoHo and NoLIta.

Spring Natural's philosophy from the beginning has been to serve whole natural foods that are minimally processed. Where ever possible they produce their items in house from fresh natural ingredients-- from organic whole wheat flour pie crusts to house made breads, ketchup, organic seitan and free range chicken sausages. They also make the effort to ensure their produce and grains are certified organic wherever possible. All poultry is free range and naturally farmed without hormones.
